Bringing Method to Madness with Patty Canney
Designing inspired compositions and bold paintings using a playful approach
This is a chance to spend time with distinguished painter and career art director Patricia Canney and learn her process of creating bold, impactful paintings. In this workshop, we’ll use her vintage dress wear and tailored forms for inspiration. We will learn her composition development method, from initial inspiration to photographing and cropping a design, working up impactful thumbnails and sketches, and creating a finished painting or two using big brushes and bold strokes.
Come in from the cold this January and into the creative fold, and leave with new methods and inspired paintings.
